At South Texas Amplifier Repair, we take great pride in our repair process. Our goal is to provide top-quality service and get your audio equipment back in prime condition as quickly as possible.

  1. Get in touch with us to schedule a repair or inquire about our services.
  2. We diagnose any issue(s) with your amplifier.
  3. Customer will be contacted with full explanation of any issue(s) and the repair process along with full repair cost assessment for approval.  
  4. There is a minimum charge of $30 for diagnosing any issue(s).  Paid prior to diagnoses explained.
  5. Once contracted to repair the issue(s), the $30 will go towards the full repair bill.
  6. Turn around time is 3 to 10 days unless parts are unavailable at that time.
  7. Cost of having an amplifier repair depends on damages, brand, cost of amplifier, cost of parts and labor. Most amplifiers cost around $100 to $180 to repair.  Shipping not included.
  8. Sometimes an amplifier will cost more to repair than replace.  We offer a choice to buy the amplifier direct for specialty parts that another customer has agreed for us to use repairing their amplifier. .
  9. We offer a maintenance package for $35 dollars. We will inspect your amplifier and will replace worn out thermal tape or grease to make sure your amplifier is transferring the heat to the heatsink properly. We will clean the inside and out with 99% only the best isopropyl alcohol. We will make sure your amplifiers fans are rotating at maximum speed and replace them if they're not. (Parts are extra)
